Hello, I’m Abi and I’m a British brand designer
I have been a creative being for as long as I can remember. In my school years, everything I did was centred around art and design, so going into the working world was no different. At my first year of university, there was a guest speaker who was an excellent graphic designer. As he was speaking, all I could think was 'This is definitely what I want to do' and I haven't looked back.
Abigail Designs came into fruition in March, 2023 - I knew it would be a challenge but I decided to set up on my own. Through absorbing all the design knowledge that I could as well as diving deep into working on myself and my mindset, I am proud to be running my own business today.
Abigail Designs helps vegan and cruelty-free businesses flourish through innovative and playful brand design.
Relevant qualifications, experience and my journey into the industry
I first entered into the graphic design industry in 2020, after gaining a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in contemporary art and design. I then designed for 2 digital marketing agencies, both of which I have learned a great deal of knowledge about how marketing and design go hand in hand. In the second agency, I did a digital marketing apprenticeship alongside my design job, achieving a Dinstinction. Once I had completed this qualification, I took a leap of faith in myself and decided to branch out on my own to pursue Abigail Designs full time, rather than just as a side hustle.
